I’m Julia Grace, a licensed psychotherapist passionate about helping people find trust, flow, and meaning in their lives in ways that are creative and embodied. In seeing the positive and transformational effect expressive movement, art, and mindfulness practices had in my life, I set on a professional path to offer these therapies to others.
I have dedicated the last 17 years to studying the nature of human behavior with a deep exploration on the role of the positive psychology, mindfulness, spirituality, embodiment and creativity in helping human beings thrive.
In our sessions together, you will learn practical tools to manage difficult emotions, relationships, and live a life with peace and flow. You will increase resiliency, reduce stress and anxiety, overcome depression, trauma, and/or addiction, and learn how to navigate transitions in life with greater ease.
My tool box of therapy is rooted in trauma informed modalities including Internal family systems, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, Somatic psychotherapy, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, Spiritual psychology and mindfulness.
My clinical experience includes working with adults with trauma and addiction in residential treatment; seniors with dementia in long term care; adults with mental health diagnoses in outpatient clinics; children with behavioral and neurological challenges and the “worried well” in private practice seeking greater clarity from the stresses of modern day life.
My License allows me to serve residents of Texas, California, Massachusetts, New York, and Florida. Currently, I see most of my clients virtually.
